Cybersecurity Camp V is jointly organized by the National Satellite of Excellence in Design Science and Technology for Secure Critical Infrastructure (NSoE DeST-SCI) and the Singapore Cybersecurity Consortium (SGCSC). The camp will feature talks on topics related to Secure Critical infrastructure on Day 1, followed by a hands-on workshop on Day 2.
Important Note: Limited seats are available for the hands-on workshop on Day 2. There will be 2 sessions for the workshop - the afternoon session is a repeat of the morning session. Confirmation is subjected to the organizers' discretion. Please do not turn up if you do not receive a confirmation email by the organizers.

Day 2: Workshop

This workshop will train participants in developing a PLC program and SCADA system with key elements for cyber security consideration. We will focus on developing a mock system for small substation/distribution board, using the open source Soft-PLC runtime package and SCADA package from OpenPLC project. Basic information on OT systems related to smart grid will be addressed so that candidates with little prior knowledge may also participate.
Pre-requisites:
None. Good to haves:
- Basic electrical engineering knowledge (a simple understanding of switch open/close)
- Basic understanding of programming constructs (if-then-else, while, for, etc.)
- Some knowledge on Industrial Control Systems (ICS) or automation
Participants to bring:
Laptop with Windows or Linux OS, with the following OpenPLC packages installed:
